10 Jun Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremony
On June 9th, 2021 we celebrated all Gwen Cherry Park youth being promoted to the next grade. All educational milestones are worth celebrating, and we believe in showing children the value of education through positive reinforcement and support. All graduates were provided with certificates and medals. Our Park and Community Center Manager, Eric Wright Jr., provided a warm welcome to our graduates and their families at the start of the ceremony. Our Recreation Specialist Misti Barber gave an encouraging commencement speech, followed by the award ceremony. The ceremony also included three Graduation Poems and two electrifying Dance Performances by our graduates.
