21 Jan Give Miami Day 2014
Through the 2014 Give Miami Day, sponsored by The Miami Foundation, the Gwen Cherry Park Foundation was able to raise over $7,200 within a 24-hour period, to promote programs and activities at the NFL YET Miami. The Gwen Cherry Park Foundation was able to reach its fundraising goal of $7,500 from additional contributions received from donors who were not able to participate in the on-line giving event.
This is the second year that the Gwen Cherry Park Foundation has participated in Give Miami Day. This year, in total, The Miami Foundation and the 500 participating non-profit organizations, raised over $ 5 million in one day.
The Gwen Cherry Park Foundation is proud of what it accomplished this year and sincerely thanks our donors who contributed to our total. Because of the funds received during Give Miami Day, we will be eligible for a partial match of the funds from The Miami Foundation’s bonus pool.
